Biography

A quantum physicist by training, Martin has dedicated his career to ensuring that quantum technologies have a disruptive, yet positive, impact on industry and society. Martin is based in Quebec, Canada, and is currently a managing partner at Quantacet, an early-stage quantum-focused investment fund, as well as director of quantum strategy at ACET Quantum, a deep tech incubator offering specific mentoring tailored to quantum companies. Martin sits on the advisory board of Canada's National Quantum Strategy and serves on the board of directors of Quantum Industry Canada. Before joining the quantum ecosystem in Sherbrooke, Martin was senior product manager for ISARA Corporation, a quantum security company. Martin also spent eight years promoting the impacts of quantum technologies to students, governments, businesses and investors for the University of Waterloo's Institute for Quantum Computing, where he also earned his PhD.
