- Biography
- Mehdi is the cofounder and Chief Science Officer of Qunnect Inc. He graduated with his Ph.D. in Physics from Stony Brook University in 2018. During his Ph.D., Mehdi worked on several aspects of room temperature quantum communication and computation technologies. In 2018, Mehdi was awarded the Yale Joint Quantum Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship to work on novel quantum opto-mechanical systems at Jack Harris Lab. As Qunnect’s CSO, he currently leads a team of scientists and engineers with a focus on developing the product suite necessary for long-distance quantum communication embedded in telecom fiber networks.
