Biography

Massimiliano Dispenza, PhD is currently Head of Quantum Technologies, Optronics and Advanced Materials Labs area within Leonardo Innovation Labs (Corporate CTIO) and National Appointed Representative for NATO Panels on Novel Technology Incubators (TSI) and for Electronics & Sensors (SET). He is also member of EU Quantum Strategic Advisory Board, of the Italian Quantum Technology Coordination Group and of the NATO Transatlantic Quantum Community He has been responsible first for Photonics research unit at Leonardo SpA and then for the Microelectronics Product Development area, thus first managing R&D activities and then Manufacturing of Radar systems for national and foreign customers He has also been Project leader in various National and International research projects in the domains of Microelectronics, MEMS, Nanotechnologies, Photonics, THz and CBRN Sensors, Quantum Tech within several funding frameworks: Horizon, EDA, European Space Agency, European Defense Agency etc. He is National Representative in technical boards and working groups in the EU, EDA and NATO, for the development of future roadmaps in the field of Emerging Technologies and Research Funding. He is serving as Proposal evaluator Expert in EU and NATO DIANA He is author or co-author of publications in refereed journals, communications in international conferences and registered patents
