Biography
Francis Gorman is Head of the Group Information Security and Resilience Centre of Expertise at Bank of Ireland, where he leads the design and delivery of the security architectures that underpin one of Ireland's largest financial institutions. His work sits at the intersection of cyber security, operational resilience, emerging technology and regulatory change the disciplines now converging around the quantum safe transition. He is also the host of The Entropy Podcast, a show exploring cyber security, technology, risk and the future of trust including post-quantum cryptography and the broader shifts reshaping geopolitics and the security landscape. Having charted in multiple countries including Ireland, the United States, the United Kingdom, Israel, Belgium and Singapore, the show brings practitioners into conversation with the researchers, operators and policy figures shaping these fields. Beyond his role at Bank of Ireland, Francis is a published educator on Udemy, a frequent conference speaker including at PAY360, podcasts and industry round tables.
