Michele Laurelli is the founder and CTO of Algore co, a Milan-based AI company specialized in applied research and the deployment of domain-specific AI systems for complex scien fic and industrial problems. His work focuses on specialist AI agents and small, ver calized models built on the formal language of a target domain, as an alterna ve to generalist large language models. He has led AI projects in fields ranging from nuclear fusion research to legacy soware moderniza on, and he teaches Ar ficial Intelligence and Computer Science at university level in Milan and Vibo Valen a. His research interests include adap ve sparse a en on and the design of AI architectures for scien fic reasoning.
