Biography

Dr. Alasdair Price is CEO and Co-Founder of Siloton, a pioneering deep-tech company developing chip-based optical imaging technologies for accessible healthcare diagnostics. With a PhD in Quantum Engineering from the University of Bristol, he has spent more than a decade working on photonic integrated circuits, quantum communications, and silicon photonics. Under his leadership, Siloton is transforming optical coherence tomography (OCT) by miniaturizing complex imaging systems onto photonic chips, enabling portable and affordable eye disease detection worldwide.
