- Giuseppe Di Molfetta is full professor at Aix-Marseille University, member of the IUF (Institut Universitaire de France) and quantum technology consultant. As quantum computer scientist and physicist, his research is internationally recognised for its pioneering use of quantum cellular automata to simulate quantum physical laws. His current research project forms part of a wider initiative aimed at investigating how distributed architectures can improve the efficiency of quantum computing. He is currently coordinator of the ANR-JCJC DisQC and scientific coordinator of the PEPR EPiQ and QuantEdu-France for AMU. Moreover he has been elected bureau member of the National Committee for Scientific Research in Computer Science in 2025. And since 2026 he lead the QuantA (Quantum Initiative at Aix-Marseille) institute, a large initiative federating 11 CNRS research units around quantum technology.
