- Biography
- Since September 1, 2024, Loïc Le Loarer serves as the National Coordinator for Quantum Technologies Strategy under the Secretariat General for Investment (SGPI). Trained as an engineer in computer science and microelectronics, he initially spent over a decade in the private sector, first in video technology, notably at Sigma Designs, and later in supercomputing at Bull. In 2015, he joined the French Ministry of the Armed Forces, where, as an electronics manager and later project director, he contributed to the development of supercomputers and datacenters. He subsequently launched a quantum computing program, recognizing its potential as the future of supercomputing.
