Information
- Biography
- I am a career research scientist and former professor of physics with a focus on quantum superconducting devices and condensed matter physics. I am primarily an experimental physicist but have a strong foundation in theoretical physics. Since 2000 I have worked at the cutting edge of superconducting quantum science in both academic and industrial settings ranging from small startup companies to a major US defense contractor. I am an expert in device modelling, cryogenic ultra low-noise and microwave techniques, nanofabrication processing, and coherence aspects of device design and materials. I have taught a wide range of university physics courses and have given advanced lectures on superconducting quantum devices to early career researchers in both academia and industry. I have resided and worked in six countries around the globe.
