Biography

Philippe Blot is Co-Founder and CEO of QPerfect, a Strasbourg-based quantum computing company and, since 2026, a wholly owned subsidiary of BTQ Technologies Corp. (Nasdaq: BTQ). Founded in 2023 out of the University of Strasbourg's quantum research ecosystem, QPerfect develops the MIMIQ™ emulator and the Quantum Logical Unit (QLU™) framework, enabling engineers to design, test and validate quantum programs before deploying them on real hardware — technology now central to BTQ's quantum safe&security stack. Before QPerfect, Philippe spent over 20 years at the intersection of IT security and ciphering technology, building and leading international teams in smart cards, authentication and identification systems. He was CEO & Chairman of UINT (France) and Co-Founder and CEO of MeReal Biometrics (Hong Kong), and held senior roles at Bell Canada, Sun Microsystems/Netscape, nCipher (Thales Group) and nCryptone (Prosodie Cap Gemini). He brings this security background directly to bear on quantum readiness — helping enterprises understand not just the promise of quantum computing, but the concrete steps to prepare for it today.
