- LQUOM is a quantum technology company originating from Yokohama National University in Japan and focused on developing quantum communication infrastructure for the future quantum internet. Our core technology is the quantum repeater, a key component that enables long-distance quantum communication beyond the limitations of direct optical fiber transmission. LQUOM's mission is to build scalable and practical quantum networks that connect quantum computers, sensors, and users across metropolitan, national, and eventually global distances. By overcoming the distance limitations of current quantum communication systems, quantum repeaters will make it possible to realize secure quantum communications and distributed quantum computing.
