Share Your Expertise at The World Quantum Cannes Festival

The World Quantum Festival 2026 will bring together researchers, industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers from around the globe to explore the latest advances in quantum science and technology. Set against the inspiring backdrop of Cannes, the festival will serve as a vibrant forum for exchanging ideas, presenting breakthroughs, and shaping the future of the quantum ecosystem.

We invite submissions for keynote talks across the full spectrum of quantum technologies. Upon acceptance by the program committee, invitations will be issued.

Call for Abstract Areas

Quantum computing hardware

Trapped ions, superconducting circuits, neutral atoms, photonics, spin systems, and emerging platforms; scaling strategies; error mitigation and correction; device engineering.

Quantum computing software and algorithms

Quantum programming frameworks, compilation and optimization, hybrid algorithms, benchmarking, resource estimation.

Quantum computing applications

Chemistry, materials science, finance, optimization, machine learning, and domain-specific use cases.

Quantum communication, cryptography, and sensing

Quantum networks, repeaters, QKD, post-quantum cryptography, precision metrology, and quantum-enhanced sensors.

Quantum instrumentation and enabling technologies

Lasers and photonics, cryogenics, vacuum systems, control electronics, fabrication, packaging, and integration.
In addition, we warmly encourage proposals for tutorial sessions designed to provide a clear and accessible introduction to the topics listed above. Tutorials should aim to bridge communities, support newcomers entering the field, and foster cross-disciplinary dialogue. Both academic and industry-led tutorial formats are welcome.

Submitted abstracts (~ half a page A4) should clearly state the motivation, key results or insights, and relevance to the broader quantum landscape. Contributions may present original research, technological advances, system demonstrations, application case studies, or forward-looking perspectives. Interdisciplinary and collaborative work is particularly encouraged.

All submissions will undergo peer review by the scientific committee. Accepted contributions will be presented as oral talks within thematic sessions designed to maximize exchange between communities and promote meaningful discussion.
Join us in Cannes to share your work, connect with global leaders in quantum science and technology, and contribute to shaping the next phase of the quantum revolution.

We look forward to receiving your abstract.
